I had a fantabulous time on Saturday, June 21st, at Multicultural Festival held at Bonsor Recreation Complex in Burnaby, BC. This event was held to celebrate the cultural diversity in South Burnaby, and I was glad that I could be apart of it!

Entertainment, children’s arts and crafts and a variety of tasty treats were all part of the fun. I had the chance to introduce myself to the community and I volunteered to help at a couple of the children’s arts and crafts booths.

Face painting at its best 🙂

I was proud to share my story with people of all ages. Through participating in the activities along with the rest of my community truly made the festival an unforgettable experience!

Introducing myself to everyone.

As a Chinese-Canadian, I am thankful for everyone always being so welcoming and kind. I am a strong believer for equality, no matter our race, gender, or belief.

The crowd.

I managed to learn how to make balloon animals to give to children along with South Burnaby Neighbourhood House Volunteers.

Thank you to Clark of Save On Foods for the hot dogs!
